Extraterrestrials and Other Civilizations
Lately we’ve heard many things about the future of our Earth, the most popular more recently is that the Mayan calendar has predicted that December 21,2012will be the day of the Apocalypse. Is the Mayan calendar correct? Why didn’t we pay attention to the Mayan calendar before? The thing is that we are now realizing that the Mayan’s may have had a better understanding of time and the cosmos.  Perhaps they knew something that we are only now beginning to understand.

We are just beginning to realize that knowledge from ancient times is not only information about our past, but may also be information about our future.

There is much more for us to think about. The aliens will show up just in time.

Our civilization is experiencing great shifts leading to new phases of galactic evolution and its relationship with  the UFO phenomenon.  Will we become an inter-galactic family?  Will we become part of a greater cosmic family?

Different Religions and Viewpoints
Michael Drosnin is a former Washington Post and Wall Street Journal reporter and the author of The Bible Code. In his book, Michael Drosnin talks about a code found in the Torah, the Old Testament of the Bible.  This code predicts from the holocaust to Hiroshima.  Michael Drosnin also found, that the word “comet” relates to September.16, 2012….is that the end of time? Drosnin credits Israeli mathematician Dr. Eli Rips for discovering the Bible Code. His e claim is that extraterrestrials put a hidden code into the Bible over three thousand years ago.

Discussed primary in the New Testament, in the last book of the Christian Bible, the book of Revelation, it is foretold that the end of days will be foreshadowed by plagues, earthquakes, famine, fires, meteors, storms, and much more. The Antichrist is expected to appear on earth and assume world domination. This will be followed by the Battle of Armageddon and the return of Jesus to the earth.  Once the Antichrist and his armies are destroyed, we will live in a Golden Age.

There is a persistent cry from fundamentalist Christians who are convinced that Jesus himself will come in person to save us.  What will he save us from? No matter what, the reward will be peace and prosperity for thousands of years.

The Islamic interpretation by Abd Al-Rahman Al Hawali is that the abomination of desolation in The Day of Wrath will be the Punishment for the unbelievers.  It is believed this refers to the taking of Jerusalem by Israel in 1967, and that 45 years later, in the year 2012, Allah will come and all Muslims will go to the Garden of Delights.  In the meantime they mistreat all women to a slavery status.  It is believed only males will be received in heaven by 70 virgins. It is also believed that the doors will be closed for women and female children.

Long ago, the Greeks, who received much of their knowledge from Egypt, believed that there were two “gates” on the Milky Way.  They believed that souls descended through the Silver Gate and ascended through the Golden Gate. Due to precession, the gates have now moved to the intersections of the ecliptic and galactic equator. The Golden Gate currently points the area of galactic alignment in 2012.

The Pachakuti Legend, arising in the Andes Mountains in South America, contains a prophecy that states that the “Return of the Inca” will occur in 2012. The tribe still lives in the heights of Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and in North West Argentina.

Many shamans, psychics, scientists, and ordinary people have had a vision or seen the number 2012, while meditating and in trance states.  They have seen the number 2012 as a date of catastrophe, chaos, purification, high enlightenment, etc.

In response to many questions that I have received lately, I will give my personal opinion.  I believe there must be a cleansing of souls on this planet.  This cleansing will enable us to enter the new era. The Piscean religious “manipulation” is still in the air.

Many things will come to the forefront, things that have been hidden in the past such as UFO’s, psychic phenomenon, healing minds, and political governments’ cover-ups.

Global Warming
As Shakespeare had Cassius say to Brutus in his play Julius Cesar: “The fault dear Brutus is not in our stars but in ourselves.”Global climate change is coming.  It is undeniable and irreversible. Due to continued oil production, coal will be increasingly ripped from the ground and burned, continuing to release more and more carbon dioxide more and more rapidly into our planet’s already unstable atmosphere.

Due to the continuing natural disasters, the global economy will contract dramatically. Recession and then depression will ensue. Governments will fall as currencies plummet in value.

But along with profound crisis comes great opportunity. We have to open our minds and be positive not just focus on doom and gloom, death and destruction. There are an ever growing number of people who believe that we are in a period of planetary acceleration, which will lead to evolutionary changes of the human psyche. According to these proponents, we are in the process of ascending to a new level of being, so that by the year 2012 we are ready to move into a new frequency, a new dimension of existence.

As an optimist, I see a world where hopefully the old order of chaos, war and global damage will be replaced by something far better. I see a world where control is no longer in the hands of just the powerful, ruthless men with sinister agendas, who are driven by nothing more than greed and the need for complete and utter control.

By definition, this may indeed mean that our present civilization, in its current form, may be nearing its end. But the human race will prevail. Transformation does not have to mean destruction.

Because no one is an island, and we apparently travel together on collective waves of thoughts and circumstance, the year 2012 might be one of those critical points, when the crest of a wave reaches the climax, and suddenly most of the world “get’s it”. But what exactly are we getting? Maybe we realize that our course of actions had led to nothing but redundant warfare, greed, and selfish division, and nothing will change unless we change ourselves.

We recently saw with astonishment the earthquakes in Haiti.  A few years ago we saw the Indian Tsunami.  These are the natural calamities that a period of “purification” will bring to the planet. Too many believe that tragedies of this magnitude will never happen on US soil.  We saw it with 9/11.  Too many believe it will happen everywhere else but here. I am sorry, but I do see major earthquakes with flooding on both the West and East coasts.

Yes, we need a change, but not with guns and bombs.  We need a spiritual awakening, one which marries higher consciousness with action.
Let’s welcome the new prophets of the Divine Age: Eckhart Tolle, Gregg Bradden, John Jenkins, Tom Kenyon, and many more.  These prophets brought us the lesson of how to breath and cure our souls and body with the cheapest discipline – the lesson of Meditation.

The new world view is being created from the inside out, instead of the outside in. Maybe 2012 will be a new beginning, not an ending.
